Association of Retarded Citizens (ARC) of
Greater Houston

The ARC is a national, non-profit organization
formed in 1950 to lobby for the inclusion of
people with mental retardation and other
developmental disabilities in all aspects of
society. It provides referrals and runs
several caretaker support groups including a
Hispanic support group in Spanish and a sibling
support group.
Arthritis Foundation

The Arthritis Foundation is the only national
not-for-profit organization that supports the
more than 100 types of arthritis and related
conditions with advocacy, programs, services and
research.
Beach Center on Families and Disability
