Welcome to Bay Area Rehabilitation Center’s website. Here online we hope to give you a small sample of who we are, what we do, and the people we work with. Founded in 1948 as a small, independent and singularly focused organization designed to help a select group of children, the organization that later became the Bay Area Rehabilitation Center has grown such that it now provides services to over 3000 individuals annually, covering all ages and demographic groups. Centrally housed on Decker Dr between Bayway and Baker roads, our 18 acre campus contains services ranging from physical, occupational and speech therapies to aquatics exercise programs to vocational training for adults of all capabilities. Our staff of nearly 100 employees works with clients onsite and, in certain unique programs, in the clients homes. We transport clients daily to the Center from in and around the Baytown area as well as see local ISD busses bringing in students to work in our vocational program. In all, the Bay Area Rehabilitation Center contains a diverse array of rehabilitative services that we can offer to the local community.
