Opportunity Center Program
Bay Area Rehabilitation Center has been making disabilities become possibilities in the greater east Houston area since 1948. Initially an organization that provided therapy services for children, the Center began providing outpatient occupational, physical, and speech therapy services to all ages in 1995.
Bay Area Rehabilitation Center has a history of adapting and adding services that both meet our mission and assist you to live your best life. Bay Area Rehabilitation Center was chosen by the readers of The Baytown Sun as the 2016, 2019, 2020, and 2021 Reader's Choice Award Winner for Best Physical Therapy (there were no categories for occupational and speech therapy)!
The Opportunity Center Program, a division of By Area Rehabilitation Center, provides adults with disabilities vocational rehabilitation and other site-based services. These services provide participants with social, life, and vocational skills. The programs combine to help participants to obtain a sense of empowerment as well as help them succeed socially in the community.
