Bay Area Rehabilitation Center has been making disabilities become possibilities in the greater east Houston area since 1948. Initially an organization that provided therapy services for children, the Center began providing outpatient occupational, physical, and speech therapy services to all ages in 1995.
Bay Area Rehabilitation Center has a history of adapting and adding services that both meet our mission and assist you to live your best life. Bay Area Rehabilitation Center was chosen by the readers of The Baytown Sun as the 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Reader's Choice Award Winner for Best Physical Therapy (there were no categories for occupational and speech therapy)!
Each year Bay Area Rehabilitation Center utilizes data from different sources to prepare a Program Evaluation which includes general information about Bay Area as well as outcomes from our Early Childhood Intervention (ECI), Pediatric, Adult and Opportunity Programs. This information is reviewed by our Board of Directors, management and staff in order to evaluate and improve the services we provide for individuals with disabilities.
At Bay Area we believe our current and future clients should have access to this information to enable them to make the best possible decisions regarding where to go for treatment of their disabilities or injuries. We also feel it is important to provide this information for those who are evaluating whether to provide financial support to Bay Area.
